Well that sucks.

The Panthers just announced that rookie defensive tackle Corvey Irvin, a third-round pick, has a knee injury and won't return to the game. There is no word yet on the severity of the injury. However, given the team's lack of depth at defensive tackle, anything other than a minor injury could be a major problem for the Panthers.

i asked darin if he knew anything and he responded by saying:

If he goes on IR, they have to account for both him and his replacement under the cap. Not good for a cash-strapped team.

Unless he's hurt badly enough to actually justify going on IR, I can't see it.

On my roster, I had him sticking but being a candidate for the inactive list.
