Paris, the UK and Ireland and maybe one more stop if I have the time, I have a spare 5 days that aren't planned for anything. Staying with a friend I met in Australia when in Paris, but it's hostels outside of that.

Flight got very delayed and I was re routed to Amsterdam with a slight layover, trying to see if I can get my flight to Paris delayed for a few days and see Amsterdam but it's not looking like it right now.

I backpacked across Europe last year.

 

Well actually, four of us went to Paris, London, and Normandy.  To the Eurorail business class equivalent from Paris to London, took the regular train to Normandy.  But I did have a backpack, although I had my son carry it since it hurt my back.  :)

My plane leaves in 10 minutes, a lifelong dream and 2 years in the makes! Oh the excitement!!! This is the most excited I think I've been for anything not Panthers related!

​Have fun....my son has been doing that for the last 3 weeks after graduating college and comes back tomorrow. From the pics that he has been sending it looks like he has been living a dream and I don't think he is ready to come home.

I basically didn't take a vacation for almost two years before I took this one. And yeah taking a little over a month off

Yes, America doesn't have as many hostels, and a lot of places are further apart so we don't get as much traffic as Australia and Europe, but last time I rode a train I met a French guy that was backpacking through the he US but that was 3 years ago
