Based on how the league has transitioned from a run-heavy to pass-happy orientation, one would expect many more picks to be spent on this position than any other in the past 15 years. Sure enough, half of the teams in the league have spent an average of one pick a year on a receiver. Who has been the most effective with their selections of pass-catchers?

We have drafted 15 receivers? That is shocking.  I guess most of them were in the first 10 years.

Smitty definitely carried us for drafted WR. Kelvin is looking good and Brandon Lafell was solid, did we draft anyone else worth a damn? I think not.

This is really odd IMO. The only great receiver we've drafted since 2000 is Steve Smith. Everyone else has been either an average receiver (Brandon LaFell), a one-season wonder (Keary Colbert, David Gettis), or a bust (Drew Carter, Armanti Edwards). Their methodology is flawed.
