Recent Newton article on ESPN says that Proehl believes Ginn to be the fastest, even faster than Jones and Brown. No mention of Byrd, but I doubt he is anything more than a PS player this year.

Colin Jones did an interview right before the draft and said he was the fastest last season. He said Stephen Hill was really fast and Ted Ginn was faster in 2013.

​What game did you see in week 17? That was clearly Webb chasing Hester down FROM BEHIND on a punt return to save a TD. Hester had more than a step on Webb and still got tackled before scoring.

wasn't that the  kickoff return where Hester broke a tackle bounced it out to the sideline. and was tackled by Webb prior to getting past Gano.if Hester gets a step on Gano then he's gone...

​Webb was on the opposite sideline at the start of the return I'm talking about. He hauled ass to make that tackle and that's why I include him as a dark horse for fastest Panther. In pads. Running 80+ yards. I value game speed much more than 40 yard times.

Bottom line, Joe Webb is not faster than Byrd, Jones, Ginn, or Brown; even though he ran Hester down.
