Training Camp Is a Glimpse Into Our Future

Recommended Posts

If you are new to the huddle I advise you to pay close attention to the training camp coverage. History has shown us that even novice observations can be validated in the regular season. Jeremy does a great job giving us the latest and we have a good community of guys that share pictures and thoughts as well. Were you shocked when Adarius Glanton started in our NFC South triumph over the Falcons? We weren't. He was in Camp with us and showed that not quite ready talent.

In January Fozzy Whitaker helped us beat the Cardinals. But in August he was turning heads in training camp. Here is a picture from one of our TC threads.

In December Trai Turner and Andrew Norwell galvanized our line. In August we saw the Rookies get extra attention from Coach Matsko.

If you were surprised by undrafted WR Philly Brown and 5th rounder Bene Benwikere, you should read the TC threads, we all saw it coming.

Bene made the play by the way.

If you were surprised to see the Panthers pick the gigantic Devin Funchess to compliment KB, maybe you shouldn't have. Last year we experimented with Marcus Lucas, Marvin McNutt, Kelvin Benjamin, and our big Tight Ends in various formations.

And let's not forget the training camp insider information when It comes to Fantasy Football. I know quite a few Huddlers reaped the rewards of drafting Kelvin Benjamin in the last round of their fantasy drafts. Many thought he had a lot to learn as a rookie. But we could see what was coming in August.

So enjoy the Summer but keep yourselves informed. Training camp is by far the most productive time for Huddlers to learn about the team.

I partially made this thread to test the new site format and it's really nice. The photographer in Jeremy has all the photo embedding and viewing at top notch quality. Pulling up old topics when you know the author is really efficient. The one complaint is I'm having trouble with pulling things up by searching key words.

I loved being at camp last year. KB was a spectacle. When reporters were saying he didn't have a single drop, they weren't exaggerating. He did not drop a single ball all of camp. Can't wait to see our new guys this year.

I'm a long time lurker but I have to admit that the coverage every year is absolutely amazing. I'm constantly glued to the forum. So many great insights. Great job Jeremy! Can't wait for this season. Go Panthers!

This sounds so cliché because it probably is, but I feel like this is gonna be our year.

We we have never in our history had so much talent and competition at nearly every position. One could argue that our glory days roster was this good and it would be a valid one to be had.

I just feel like Cam is healthy, we have legitimate depth at nearly every single position, to the point that when final cuts are made this year, some fans are going to be legitimately pissed because "their guy" didn't make the cut.

I genuinely feel as though, something is in the air, and I have never been more optimistic in all my years as far as where we can go. This could very well be a very special year. My only prayer is that we have healthy competition and minimal injuries.

I gotta feeling boys, start saving up now while u have the chance

Norwell looks like he would rip your arms off at the shoulders, cram them down your throat, then pick you up by the feet and swing you around like a baseball bat to beat up other people.
