Do they like the huddle?

My girl knows what it is, but doesn't really care.  Every once in a while she will ask what I'm reading about but after about two sentences of me explaining something Panthers related, something has usually distracted her and she isn't listening anymore.  She will however watch any sports event with me and is genuinely interested in learning the rules and why certain things are happening in game.

When I first joined in '05 or '06 I was on it all the time up to the '08 server crash. My wife was rather put off by it. Leading up to and after that server crash a lot of the old school posters started disappearing (going to facebook in many cases) and I started cutting back significantly. I probably spent five times the hours on the huddle in those 2-3 years than I had on the entire internet from the mid 90's through the mid 2000's. A year or two after my "scaleback"  my wife admitted that it had driven a wedge in our marriage and that she had dropped numerous hints and warnings to me over the years but I seemed to ignore them (probably true). Things are fine now and have been for many years but there are times I think back to how much work I didn't get done, how many things I probably missed out on. And yet I still seem to fall back on the coinage, "It was worth it, well mostly"

Back then I never left the lounge in the offseason.  One of the reasons for my cutback no good threads any more here.
