You have to ask yourself this question:  If you were 21 years old and signed a contract for $4m per season, and you knew that you would be, eventually, signing a deal for another $100m ($45m or so guaranteed), how motivated would you be to finish college?

So the degree is not about financial security as it was for most of the Huddle.  What made him do it?

This gesture overrides anything he did as a young, goofy 18-year old kid.  I value character in players, unlike some on this board, and I was concerned when I heard about Cam's dad negotiating with colleges and the laptop incident--you get your values from your parents in most cases.  Nobody should apologize for mentioning the laptop incident because it could have been the tip of the iceberg and not an isolated incident.  If you KNEW Cam was not going to be a character issue then, you are lying.  You guessed.  Cam has risen above it.  I am almost proud of Cam's maturity (I know, some of you say he has been mature all along--pouting on the sideline and in post-game interview, negative body language on the field when losing, etc).

Now I think Cam is balanced and ready to take the next step.  2015 is going to be his year.
