2011 NFL draft revisited, would you take JJ Watt over Cam?

Recommended Posts

Lol of you think cam is better/as good as luck. He's starting to run circles around cam numbers wise.

I like Luck more than anyone here.

But dude throws a lot of picks man. He's like my lil bro in our madden franchise. He plays as the raiders and Derek Carr throws for 500 yards a game but has like 4 picks. That's Luck.

Luck has the interesting way of lulling the other team into a false sense of security by playing like poo for the first half then getting quick scores to win the game in the 4th. I've seen so many of his games be crazy comebacks because he played terribly early on. The Chiefs playoff game is the biggest one.

Exactly this man it's a trip he sucks early gets down 21 then comes back and he's the greatest ever.

It's like teams magically fall apart and allow him to score then the offense turns it over or goes 3 and out now, he has the ball again and about to score. it's literally insane. His last name is scary appropriate.

You act like that means much. The game is about rushing the passer and defending the pass. Who cares if a MLB tackle a dude 10 yards down the field 5 more time than another. I don't really car about MLB play same as I don't care about the kickers. So, statistically(in tackles) Luke is the best MLB. There is no argument against that.

Do you kow who had the most sacks last year? Everybody should know that guy's name even more than Waaatttt. The hypocrisy here is that most people don't.

That's because most people know that Justin Houston and JJ Watt play different positions and don't have the same responsibilities and therefore what Watt does is more impressive. But since you are a simpleton that only looks at SACKS SACKS SACKS when evaluating players, Watt has 12 more than Houston when they've been in the league for the same amount of time.

Now I see why I was hesitant to come here!

To the original post:  JJ Watt or Cam.  to me it's pretty easy, Cam.  The QB is the most important position in football.  We have been more successful than the Texans since we got Cam.  Watt is a very good player, but while he's been doing great things in Houston, they haven't been very good as a team.  To me, that's pretty easy.

If you don't have a QB, you can't compete.

This x10.  Houston has one responsibility, QB pressure.  Watt does that as well or better than Houston AND has to defend the run.  If I had to choose between Watt and Houston for my team, I'm taking Watt all day.  If I had to choose between Watt and Houston + a late 1st round pick, I'm still taking Watt.  This is the same argument that I use to say that Hardy is one of, if not THE, best 4-3 DE in the league.  He's not a 1 trick pony.  He does it all, QB pressure, run stopping, drops back into coverage on occasion, played gunner on STs at times.  There are few players in the NFL as versatile as Hardy, and not just ABLE to do lots of things, he does them all very well (except maybe the coverage bit, but he does fine for a DE).
