Madden 05 or 06 on the original xbox is easily the best.

This past years madden on Xbox one was actually a phenomenal game in my opinion. Yeah it had some of the classic madden hiccups, but I've been interested in it far longer than any other recent iteration of madden.

They could put so much more in the game and make it so much better but they dont because they dont have too. Ps2 madden is much better and in depth. Just lacks graphics.

Like i said every other game on my xbox is 50-60 gb. Madden is a measly 15 gb

Joe Montana 2K16 isn't on PS3 or PS4, therefore it's Madden for me.

Not sure how JMF will get around EA's stranglehold on NFL licensing. If JMF can't use the actual NFL roster they might as well not even bother.

I could be wrong but I believe console exclusives are not in EA's deal meaning anyone can make a legit NFL game as long as it's an exclusive to one console, which is crap of corse but Madden is obviously scared of competition because of the garbage they put out.

First football game to come out on PC I'll buy.  Doesn't look like we'll get Madden so I'm holding out hope for this Joe Montana thing.

I think NFL 2k2 is probably the best football video game of all time.

Maddens these days are just a roster update and a couple of additional in-game animations. That's pretty much it.

 

dude, that game was terrible. using the thumbsticks to move a cursor to pick plays, any DT could run down any WR from behind. every single huddle is broken with an NES-quality sounding "PANTHERS!"

Currently playing Madden 11 PS3.  Favorite all time Madden is Madden 06.  I don't play online, but play offline franchise mode.

 

Madden '06 Franchise mode is the sh*t. I'm in like 2050 right now. Rivera won us 5 Super Bowls as our head coach.

I play 12 just because I hated 13 and its just been a roster update since then. I just love true franchise mode and none of that connected careers crap that so in-depth it take 6 months to get through a season. On top of that its so easy to get a boss team its not worth playing.
