I wouldn't press charges, but I would make this a very good lesson for your child.  Between young drivers, texting, and young drivers texting....I'm almost scared to ride my bike anywhere these days.

He's fine, she apologized and was probably scared to death she hurt him. It's over.

 

Christ, us older guys all had worse accidents on bikes when we were kids and definitely didn't have one of our mommies trailing us in a car. Boys get scuffed up. It happens.

It would be wrong to press charges in my opinion. I love riding a bike myself but in all honesty it's a stupid thing to do now days. You can't trust people to drive safely.

I think the big question will be, did your son run a stop sign? You have to remember where you live too. NC is the only place in the world that you can be rear ended when not even stopped and they don't ticket the fat cow that did it

She was very apologetic and concerned.

Just be glad he is ok and she didn't drive off Agee seriously injuring him.

Unless your cool with your kids dying in the middle of the night bc they have a concussion and you just told them to rub some dirt on it.

again based on your story it seems like your son wasn't following rule of the road and luckily no one got hurt
