Faction Brewing Anomaly Milk Stout

Montsta

Recommended Posts

Why is it called Anomaly you ask? Because the beer pictured below is a milk stout on nitro but looks like an IPA. It's got a thick, creamy head that stays with the beer proportionately throughout the pint, and while it's got a very faint chocolate taste, it's so minor you just get to enjoy the perfect blend of vanilla, malt, and hops all the way through. It's good day, night, summer, winter. It doesn't matter. Look at the head at the beginning and end of the glass. It's perfect.

I can't stress enough how much you need to try this beer.

It's in my top 3 favorite beers of all time and is brewed at Faction Brewing in Alameda, CA on an abandoned naval base that has beautiful views of the San Francisco city skyline. So not only did America end the Nazi's and drop a bomb on the Japanese Empire, our pacific naval bases gave us the greatest gift of all...craft breweries.

Righteous beer bros. Righteous.
