Not being argumentative, but I would just like to know why people think it's the greatest movie this year? I got hyped up to watch it and was let down.

​In all seriousness, that might be the problem. I went into it with reasonable expectations, but it was still rather early so all the hype wasn't nearly as high.

By the time you went to see it, it was already being declared one of the greatest action movies ever.
