right after you cross the bridge into the obx there is a restaurant called sugar creek, with a side shop called the sugar shack(seafood market with a lunch menu), I've eaten lunch at the shack a few times while out there and it was fantastic!!!

No idea on sugar creek but it should be awesome seafood too, since it's the main restaurant.

I'll probably be going to the obx sometime this week, but I live an hour and a half away so it's not that big of a deal for me to drive there.

You could try surfing if you're into that. Is def go to okacroke for a night. I remember having a layover there for the ferry on the way to hatteras when I was like 16 and it looked like one big party
