Favorite original Panther ?

My favorite was Bob Christian, Fullback. He scored 2 or 3 touchdowns in the first preseason game and I thought he was a god amongst men. I really like Howard Griffith and Tim McKyer too. Who can forget Tim McKyer's touchdown?

These threads always pop up once a year or so and they are great. I've been pretty consistent in them that my favorite Panther from day one was Curtis Whitley. A lot of teams obviously thought they could push an expansion team around and they learned quickly lining up against Whitley that was not going to happen. A lot of people called him a dirty player but in my opinion we needed somebody like him to set the tone in the trenches
