Favorite original Panther ?

So everyone, huddle is a tad dead at the moment. So I wondered what is your favorite Panther from our very first team ? Many will say Sam mills but there were a lot of stars on that roster

Nah, probably Michael Bates if you include that as the "first team". That boy was fast.  If not, I'd say Carrier.

Probably Lamar Lathon, though the whole team is memorable for being the first Panthers. Have the #57 jersey he signed for me at the 1996 preseason game in KC framed and hanging in my office. I was the only person he signed for that day, a pretty cool thing for a teenage kid.

Greg Kragen never got enough credit.

 

He was far from the prototypical nose guard, but he was good.
