I will say the writers didn't do her any favors last night with that promo. Oof. Probably got over with the kids, though.

It was really Charlotte's part that dragged on.  Bayley's promo was fine to me.  The only thing was iffy was the poems at the end, but the last poem got a pop.  They should have just done that one and left the other two on the cutting room floor though.  But I liked the babyface fire portion before the poems.

But that is just me.

I love all these tournaments they are doing.  I really hope we get a women's tournament this year too

Great timing.

I know basically nothing about women's wrestling outside of WWE, but I really like going into the event fresh like I did with the U.K. Tournament.

So NXT hasn't been as good to me on a weekly basis after the talent got raided.

But damn if Takeovers don't always deliver.  Another awesome one tonight.

Tomorrow's Royal Rumble should be an awesome PPV too.  Have no idea who is winning the Rumble and that is an awesome thing.  Bayley vs Charlotte should be good and Styles and Cena will be amazing.

Should be a fun night, buy tonight was awesome once again

First time in a long time that I'm legit excited for a PPV. Like you said, I actually have no idea who's going to win the Rumble and that's the exciting part.

Cena/Styles should at the very least be an entertaining match as well.

After tonight we should have a good idea what WM looks like. From some of the latest rumours it could potentially be a really good card, I hope tonight solidifies some of these rumours.

Really hoping Orton wins tonight. Rumours of Wyatt winning the title at Elimination Chamber and setting up a Orton/Wyatt title match at WM would be awesome.

Which would also lead to the Styles/Shane match that's rumoured as well.

Fwiw, Orton is apparently "heavily favored" on various betting sites to win tonight as of right now

I really hope the plan is still to have Wyatt win at EC and face Orton at WM.

Im thinking they wanted Cena to tie the record before Wyatt goes on a long title run?

After seeing Taker tonight, I really don't think he's capable of putting on another match. He looked brutal. Goldberg's quick Elimination of Lesnar kind of screws that storyline up imo. Why should Goldberg want to give Lesnar another match? With how they've had everything go between the two it makes no sense for Goldberg to give Lesnar another match.

I was pretty worried they were going to let Jericho win the Rumble. Once he started lingering around the outside you knew he was going to be in it till the end. Reports came out earlier that he's apparently sticking around longer than planned now and not leaving until May. I hope the have Balor come back and fight Owens and just let Jericho do whatever with the US title. I can't stand Jericho, and he's from where I live.

I loved the PPV last night.  All of it.

I thought the Charlotte vs Bayley match was fantastic.  They may have had some nerves early on but after those settled there was just great emotion and storytelling.  And I popped big for the Mach Man elbow and the natural selection on the edge of the apron was brutal.

Owen vs Reigns was also amazing.  Was worried about this match because we have seen it so many times before.  But the No DQ stip made it feel fresh and those guys went balls to the wall and created an awesome match.  Strowman interfering made sense too because Reigns and Goldberg had speared him a couple weeks back.

Swann and Neville was great with the right person winning.  Neville has been fantastic since turning heel and hopefully this gives the cruiserweights some buzz they desperately need.

Cena vs Styles.  Not much to say except that may have been a match of the year candidate.  People genuinely marked out the Cena winning #16.  AJ Styles is the best wrestler on the planet.

I don't have a problem with Orton winning the Royal Rumble as long as it leads to Orton vs Wyatt with Wyatt going over.  And if they are going with Reigns vs Taker this was a good piece of booking having Reigns come in at #30 because he virtually HAS to turn heel if that is the case and coming in at #30 and eliminating Taker is going to get Reigns a ton of heat especially by smarks.

Oh.  And a perfect 10 at 10 was one of my favorite moments of the night.  Tye Dillinger is so over it is insane.  He may never be more than a midcard guy but his long path in developmental along with his gimmick makes him so easy to like and so easy to root for.  I hope he gets a chance on the main roster full time and soon

Just an A+ PPV.  One of my favorite in years

Lol @ the rumour for fastlane. Goldberg vs KO. This is terrible.

Just saw this ha!

So pathetic.

After Reigns interfered last night I really thought they could do a triple threat match with Strowman and Owens which wouldn't be bad.

WWE has more than enough young talent these days. I don't know if it just me but I certainly don't care one bit to watch a 50 year old gassed Goldberg stumble around the ring. I read Taker was apparently in "rough shape" after his 8 minutes in the Rumble too... shocking I know.
