Main event was fun as hell even if Reigns kicked out of 2 Styles Clashes including one on a steel chair 

Asylum match was way too long, but ended strong.

Women's match was weak sauce.  Why cant Charlotte just be an awesome wrestler and very arrogant as a heel?

The match was the worst of the feud.  It was short and Dana swerve was dumb, although I am at least curious to see where this all leads.

But the shenanigans gets old and are not necessary.  Charlotte is genetically superior, just let her dominate as a heel. 

And while we are at it lets ditch Natalya already and bring back Sasha (if healthy) or Becky or even Paige to the title scene.

IC match was simply amazing.  Awesome, awesome, awesome match.  Loved everything about it including the Miz retaining.

Preach it. Charlotte is clearly a bigger, stronger, and all-around better athlete than all other contenders for the title. Plus, she has the bloodline. Do we really have to have someone interfere in all of her matches? They're doing it so she will get plenty of heat from the crowd, but the crowd will boo arrogance from someone who's unbeatable just as well as they'll boo a cowardly/cheating heel. I simply don't believe that Charlotte would actually need all this help to win, and it only serves to cheapen the moment when someone takes the title from her (well of course they did, Charlotte didn't have any help/her help screwed it up!)

Man, that finish was so stupid. Why do WWE make their faces look like idiots all the time? Nattie asks for her hand to be raised because Flair's music hits, as if she assumes it'll be that easy.

I wish that Reigns and Styles could have one more bout so that we can complete the trilogy, but their feud is obviously done for right now (plus, that'd require a victory from AJ or non-clean win for Roman thus far). Those two did a tremendous job keeping people interested after 'Mania and putting on two stellar matches in these 'tweener PPVs. Obviously, Roman is about to enter into something with Rollins, and AJ/The Club will likely move on. Perhaps we'll see the Wyatt family return to feud with The Club...I could definitely get down with AJ/Bray 1 on 1.

One of the things that NXT gets right most of the time that the main roster fails at, is that they know how to make people look strong in defeat, even if they take a clean pin or tap out.  Heels may take some short cuts like grabbing the tights, but generally speaking they dont have a bunch of increasingly stupid shenanigans in every match involving the top heel.

There are numerous examples of their people looking good in defeat.  Sami Zayn lost but always looked good and credible in defeat.  Becky Lynch finally got mega over with the crowd by while losing to Sasha Banks at Takeover.  Bayley often lost but gained sympathy in the process.

You can have a big badass heel, and make babyfaces look good by taking them to the limit in defeat.  This type of crap like last night makes the heel look weak and babyfaces look incompetent.  They both end up looking worse instead of both looking better afterwards.

It is okay if these type of things are used intermittingly, but when they happen every match it becomes very lame, very fast.

Yep, that's a great way to put it. Ask yourself "Who looks better/gained something as a result of the match?" and if the answer is neither one, you've got a big problem.

Smackdown is moving to Tuesdays starting July 19th, will be shown live, and there will be a brand split.

I am not actually usually a fan of a brand split concept, but at least this hopefully makes room for Balor, Bayley, Nakamura, and Joe and allow NXT to return to a developmental brand rather than a touring brand.

And if they do that and if they dont split the top title, and they get more women on TV (especially 4 horsewomen) than this could be very good.

But going live is something that I am very excited about

Looks like WWE draft will be back and there will be two World titles- at least according to wrestlezone.com

Here's the trending match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet at this year's NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Oldheads are hating on it for too much choreography which is why it's getting press. It's also getting press because IT'S INSANE. Some move towards the end leave you speechless. It's worth the twenty minute watch!

I have seen this.  Only old head I heard talking poo about it was Vader.

The only part that I thought was kind of silly or whatever, was the duel back flips into superhero landings.  That was just kind of a nothing spot and I can see why older wrestling folks might roll their eyes at that spot.   But the counters sequence that lead into that was freaking awesome.

But other than that (and even that is not any type of big deal) it was a really good match.

Ospreay is going to be a really great wrestler and I think he is only 23 years old.  I imagine he is on WWE's radar because of their involvement with EVOLVE and WWE letting it be known they will start aggressively persuing new talent because of this brand split.

I haven't seen a ton of his work, and I hear a lot of people talk about him being green with  psychology and selling.  But I have seen enough of him to know that the future is bright for that guy.

I have a feeling NXT is done, thanks to the "brand split". Guys like Ospreay would thrive in NXT but if he makes it to WWE he'll be wasted. Ricochet should have been in WWE years ago. I think he could be a star. He probably would make more money in Japan though.

Yeah, NJPW has their Juniors but they will always be about Strong Style. But unlike WWE, they don't need guys 7'0" 350 of beef to pull it off.

Ricochet (above) is Prince Puma on Lucha Underground. Any of you guys watch it? At this point, I like it better than WWE. There is some pretty good talent on their roster. I feel like their success with Lucha and the way they respect their women as actual wrestlers and not some sub-set have both pushed WWE to make changes over the last year or so. Also, that Cero Miedo match between Pentagon Jr and Vampiro was fuggin nuts.
