Open WWE/NXT/Pro Wrestling thread

It's sad that Shane, who wants to change WWE, had to be in charge just to make the show great. Why can't they all be like that? Enzo is perfect for the entertainment side. He'll do well, and Cass is big so he's set. I was shocked AJ won the four way. I sort of liked RR's semi-heel stuff to open the show. That was oddly the best he's ever been on the mic. Crews will be a mid-carder any day now, as will Corbin. But hey, now they're being paid more. Enzo & Cass might have a future. Reports are that Sami actually hurt himself at the start of the show, so they added the table bit later. Dude is the most over in the entire WWE and he may be out of action once again. Oh ... Cesaro is the bee's knees. Too bad he'll never main event. Well, unless Shane "controls" a PPV, lol.

Decent Raw. Zo and Cass showed more charisma than anyone has seen or of reigns in 3 years.

I love Enzo and Cass.  I was keeping up on twitter while Nova crushed my sport's soul.

I was fast forwarding to certain parts that I wanted to see a minute ago to take my mind off of UNC game.

The crowd chanting for Bayley was great.  And even better was Sasha beaming in the background at it.  All the 4 horswomen got cheers too (except maybe Charlotte but she was heeling it up)

To bad WWE doesnt want to give the fans perhaps the most over woman in the company just yet. :/

Glad Cesaro is back.  And they finally gave a cool moment with Enzo and Cass debut

I don't hate NXT but styles and balor are toned down a lot. NJPW is too over the top in the opposite direction and makes wrestling look bad with 100 moves that should end a fight but these guys are just so darn tough and have so much heart that being dropped on your head/neck 50 times isn't enough! Nakamura was also toned down. I never said the guys couldn't work, I just said the style of NJPW is a bit ridiculous. The worst offenders are the Young Bucks. They work hard but nothing they do makes any sense. 500 superkicks and no ring psychology. My favorite type of wrestling well always be World Class or Championship Wrestling from Florida.

Ok, I see where you're coming from. I like it though. I mean, we saw it tonight in the main event. AJ hits a 450 splash off the top rope ... kick out. I think the biggest problem is that most stars' finishers are simply flash. People's Elbow, whatever Cena does, spears, superman punches, etc. I mean ... a guy could get SUPERPLEXED off the top rope and come crashing down with a horrific thud and kick out at one, lol. But watch out if he gets a russian leg sweep face first from the Miz, then it's LIGHTS OUT. I much prefer seeing guys destroyed over and over then finally losing it than to some pretty looking weak move.

I feel for Sami Zayn.  Dude cant catch a break.  I hope it isn't serious and he has to miss a bunch of time again.

Rumor us Sami Zayn injury was a work and he is fine, they just were giving him a break because he fought Nakamura and a ladder match in last 4 days.

Cesaro was always going to be a surprise entrant.

Hope that is true

You can't tell me this isn't kinda awesome.  The crowd last night was chanting loudly for Bayley during Charlotte's segment.  But check out Sasha and Becky on the side.  Sasha is grinning from ear to ear and Becky flashes a 4 horsewomen sign.

Wyatts get taken out by The Rock and Cena in easy fashion

I thought that was one of the dumbest things. The Rock is beyond "over" and doesn't need a push anyways since he doesn't wrestle. People are sick of Cena. I have no idea why they continually poo on the Wyatt Family. Losing to the Rock does nothing for anyone.

It is a double edged sword

On one hand it is always cool to see guys like The Rock and Austin come back and beat people up (especially Austin for me)

But it really doesnt do anything for the talent that is there full time.

Seems like Rock could have beat the poo put of the Social Outcasts who are nothing more than comedic jobbers or something instead of the Wyatts.

I mean, I marked out when Austin, HBK, and Mick Foley beat up the League of Nations.  But what does that do for the League of Nations?  Nothing.  But I enjoyed it.

Agree. I feel like they've already ruined Rusev and are working on the Wyatts. They got away from big dudes for a while and it was nice to see some larger (more believable) talent come around ... the wwe just never seems to handle them right.

Rusev is the best.  Dude is low key hilarious

His sell of the Stunner was one of the highlights of WrestleMania
