Brooklyn crowds are always pretty great.

Sounds like it was a loooong show because they also taped Smackdown and Main Event

Fans stayed having a good time although seems they were struggling a bit by the time Emma v Paige and the 6 man IC tag team match came around.

Also, Brooklyn hates Roman Reigns

Yeah, they did two Main Event matches and I think three Smackdown before RAW. Doors opened at 6:30 and we were done at 11:15 or so. Roman got nothing but boos save a few kiddos and ladies. I can't believe how stubborn Vince and company are being. Yes, it throws a massive monkey wrench into the writing team and their long-term plan to go a new route, but he just isn't over. He needs to turn heel. The smarts will like it. Remember when he and Seth and Dean were liked? Speaking of which, when Seth returns, they're going to try and make him a "heel" but he'll be the top face. I know WWE is mainstream and kids and morons watch it too, but you just can't have bad guys and good guys anymore. It doesn't work.

My fave part of the whole thing was watching AJ wrestle. That's why when he came out on RAW he was wearing that doofy redneck hat. He was done for the night by that time.

Hope Finn and his buddies appear at Mania or the following night. But calling them Balor Club is so weak. Sure, BULLET isn't a PC word ... but it makes his crew sound like they worship him which will automatically weaken them.

That said, NJPW is still the best thing on TV even if good ol JR is ruining the commentary now.

 NOOOOOOOOOOO.  Bayley!!  :-(

See her on Monday ;-)

Nakamura v Zayn was simply amazing.  That was the match of the year frontrunner at this point.  Epic.

I am surprised Balor retained.  Guess maybe he is staying in NXT a bit longer.  Or is going to pull double duty.

American Alpha match was amazing too.

Only Corbin v Aries match dissapointed

Great night for NXT (as always)

Like i can't get past it that they just are so stubborn with making Roman Reigns the poster boy superhero they want him to be when he really needs to go through a heel arc and develop his character more before everybody gets on his side; even John Cena went through that. Taker is not believable at all with the deadman gimmick and they should just abandon it and have him come out as biker taker again because the lights go off!... and the smoke comes up!... and wtf the hair is ever thinner and he slicks it back like a jerkoff. And Shane beats his ass on Raw because they're desperate to get the buys up for tomorrow. In 1999 Taker could grab Shane by the scruff of the neck and shove him into the turnbuckle and that would be the end of the match. Shane's match should be with someone else and the Undertaker should have a just for men date with Sting.

The creative team has done such a poor job preparing young talent by micromanaging everything that this is what it's come down to: Wrestlemania is constantly being spearheaded by aging attractions that can barely function in the ring at this point. It's become the very thing HBK and Triple H mocked in the 90s about WCW and Age in a Cage; it's not sustainable and it's going to crash.

Just noticed Hulu has NXT. Now I can watch it (shows are posted the day after ... including PPVs) without having the Network.

Just watched Takeover. Good stuff. Summerslam is in Brooklyn this year. Hopefully they do another Takeover here. I'd love to see Nakamura in person.

They are doing same as last year and doing three nights at Barclays.  NXT, SummerSlam, then RAW.

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn was probably NXT's best special event they have ever done (although Dallas the other night us in that conversation as well) and sold it out with 16,000 people in attendance.

I am sure they are going to try and find a way to top it next year.
