I was at my girlfriends college gratuation yesterday and burnt the fug out of my face after sitting in the same damn spot for 5 hours. after the graduation yesterday, i knew i burnt it pretty bad when it was pretty hot and red, but i didnt think much of it.

I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror and the underneith of my eyes are very swollen, especially the one that faced the sun the most. Looks like I had an acute systemic reaction from a bee sting.

The fug do i do? Must i go to a doctor? I dont want to.. i want to ride it out. But if its serious i guess i have to.

Should i just say fug it, and drink my beers as i had planned?

Karma is a bitch Jeremy

Buy some aloe with lidocaine and put it in the fridge for a few hours. Once it's cools enough, apply it to your burns. You can also go buy "Burn Gel" at your local Wal Mart. It packs a punch too.

You're welcome. :)

From WebMD:

Treating Sun Poisoning

For severe sunburn, these simple remedies usually do the trick:

  • Get out of the sun.
  • Take a cool (not cold) shower or bath or apply cool compresses.
  • Drink extra fluids for a few days.
  • Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen to relieve pain.
  • Use aloe gel or a moisturizer.
  • Completely cover sunburned areas when going outside.

Seek immediate medical care for these symptoms:
