No...we got their pick, they got ours. We didn't lose anything, neither did they. We give up 2 other draft picks we are minus 2.

We gave up 2.

I will agree to disagree. No biggie. I really like the player we got for the picks so it's all good.

I agree with you sort of. Just saying we gave up a third and a fifth in return for a second is misleading. To be precise, it should be said that we gave up a second, third, and fifth for their second. It's not like our second disappeared.

The way I see it is when you pick a player, you use one draft pick that is turned in and it's not yours anymore. So that's one pick turned in for Funches + the two it took to move up. So that equals three picks for Funches that we no longer had after we drafted him.
