Save your money and enjoy the ride amigo. In addition to the stats and supporting cast mentioned above, Peyton only had one division title and zero playoff wins going into year 6. Cameron has already trumped this despite playing with a bum ankle, busted ribs, a broken back, with an UDFA French Canadian protecting his blind side in a nationally televised primetime game and Brenton Bersin as his #1 read in a playoff game.

Peyton is on Mt Rushmore. I believe it and will fight with anyone over this. But again Cam's total resume and skill set for a 25 year old is without equal.

Peyton's first 4 and Cam's first 4 years are VERY comparable if you actually look at the numbers. And that was with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark...not to mention Edgerrin James...

Peyton is obviously a HOF quarterback. But all the obsessing over his statistics and rankings is getting ridiculous.

 

What good is it for Peyton Manning to be top 5 in passing yards in the regular season every year if he folds like a lawn chair in the playoffs on a regular basis?

age 23 - did not play

age 24 - did not start full season, #6 QB rating

age 25 - #6 in passing yds, #1 in pass TDs, #9 QB rating

age 26 - #6 in passing yds, #10 in pass TDs, #10 QB rating

age 27 - #10 in passing yds, #6 in pass TDs, #9 QB rating

 

Tom Brady First 5 Seasons - 62 Starts

Cam Newton First 4 Seasons - 62 Starts

 

I think it's a fair comparison.
