Which UDFA will make the final 53?

Andrew Norwell...started several games and was the best tackle we've had since the departure of Gross.

I may have missed something, but I think he exclusively played guard. However, your point stands.

There are definitely four names that stand out: Marlowe, Miley, Peters, and Wegher.

DB was probably the biggest "need" that went unaddressed in the draft, so Marlowe and Peters may have the best shot. Voth seems to think the team really likes Marlowe, and the stats seem to indicate Peters should've been drafted. Plus, just based on the number of players we'll keep (probably about 9), there are some clear openings: Norman, Bene, Peanut, Harper, Boston, Jones, and Coleman likely have spots, but after that? ....White? Byndom? Lester? Teddy Williams? Those last two may be up for grabs.

Conversely, I think the numbers game works against Wegher. Not sure we need more than 3 RBs (Stewart, Fozzy, CAP) + Tolbert and Brockel. Though he seems like the frontrunner for the annual "practice squad running back that inevitably gets promoted after an injury" guy.

But my personal favorite is Miley...and not just because he followed me on twitter after I mentioned him a couple times. After CJ, I really don't think we know what we have at the position. I like Ealy, but I'm not sure he's ready to be a full-time starter; Horton does ok, but could certainly be upgraded; Addison is a situational player; decent chance Alexander gets suspended; and...that's the extent of our DE depth.

Miley also got a $15,000 signing bonus, which is a little over one sixth of our entire UDFA budget, so you know Gettleman is a fan.
