They're set at LT. Used their 1st round pick (#6 overall) in 2010 on Russell Okung.

"Not considered a suspect" is different than "cleared as a suspect".  The former means that they have no reason to think of him as a suspect at the time, but that could've potentially changed.  The latter means that they have enough information to clearly determine that he wasn't involved.

Was just going to post this. I think we are in the thick of it and while DG did say there were only 4 or 5 LTs in the draft he didn't say what rd value he had them at. I watched the presser live and noticed that. He may have had 2 or 3 with 1st rd grades and 1 or 2 with lower rd grades. I would think, with our situation, that you sign him and tell him you are competing for the starting Tackle position and see what happens in camp.

I agree. The article is the ONLY news that says he is cleared. Now granted, with Shady and now Deflategate, today's story is elsewhere but this should be picked up by someone else.

They'll throw him on the exempt list the second we sign him, investigate for about a year and a half then give him a 10 game suspension for "conduct detrimental to the league" without elaborating on it.

If cleared.. He got a multi million dollar screw job by the Baton Rouge PD.

If it was your mother, sister, or friend, I bet you wouldn't feel that way.

At no point in any murder investigation should the first thought be about how much money you may cost a potential murder suspect. BRPD is trying to find a killer. Not make sure La'el Collins got drafted.
