La'el Collins has begun visits

top dawg

Its quite possible we sign him. Well just as possible as any other team. He will look for the right fit and a chance to cash in after his contract is up. I doubt he is looking for a back up role.

I am glad we had dinner with him. If we didn't at least try to land him I would be pretty upset. Watching him play in the SEC I see no reason why he couldn't play LT. If we do sign Collins then we could end up with both tackle positions filled for the next 10 years.

actual "news" about him:

The Minnesota Vikings appear to be one of several teams interested in signing Collins. The Vikings, Panthers, Ravens, Bills, Eagles, Colts, Bucs, Cardinals, Rams, Dolphins and Lions appear to be the early front runners to land the talented offensive tackle.

Lol this is both exciting and crushing. That's 11 teams.

It increased our chances just under 10% from just about 3% if true. Who knows? But other teams see us as "in play" and I think that's the good point there. That's not really a "news" source.

I'm taking every percentage point I can get. ;)

ESPN beat reporter for the Bills:

As I said last night, it remains unlikely -- despite Rex's dinner --

that the Bills sign La'el Collins.

Rex might be having dinner with La’el Collins tonight, but I

wouldn’t expect the Bills to land him.
