Are there huddlers hoping for a Panthers failure?

Like I alluded to in another thread last Friday: I think that it's just highly suspect of someone to agree with every move that the owner, GM or coach makes.  It would be unnatural, actually.  And it's OK to actually discuss the differences.  Moreover, like I  alluded to in another thread: all the knee-jerkers, circle-jerkers, and everyone in between and a combination thereof, are all in the same boat together. As fans, we are in this boat together.  To me, it's just the nature of the beast.  The day that we win the Super Bowl will be the only day that we are all on one accord (maybe), and then the nature of the beast will resume once more.

No, I see what the thread is saying. A certain part of me hopes we go 16-0 and win the Superbowl, but still find a way to fire Mike Shula.

Realistically, the more rational hope is the with better offensive line and wide receiver talent giving way to more no huddle, Shula gets better as an OC and the whole team benefits as a result.

I always have believed there are a few folks out there who cling so tightly to their opinions and biases that they get satisfaction when those things are validated, even at the expense of the team having success. Good luck proving it though.

EDIT- AceBoogie comes through and actually admits it... Kudos?

Hey look someone has a different opinion than me, clearly they hate whoever/whatever it is I am arguing for and they are against. Seriously people have become such babies.

There are a lot of people on here wanting total strangers to validate their gloom and misery. "Don't get your hopes up, we're just going to lose" and "Those guys are clowns because they're not doing things my way" are their mantras.

    • I don't care about offensive production for a team that literally only threw to him and the running back. I care about what I see on film:   Dude cannot separate on his own against talented LBs/S and had to be schemed open; his route running is below average; while pretty athletic, he doesn't have elite athleticism or speed; his blocking form has quite a few red flags (dude should be a dominant run blocker for his size). He was talented enough to get open in college against a slower LB/S; that won't be the case in the NFL. Not to mention, the dude pretty much was nonexistent until this year for Penn St. If I am drafting a TE in the top 10, choosing a 5th year senior that didn't do anything until his last season should be pretty alarming. Not saying he is going to be a bad player - I think he will be a solid short/intermediate possession TE in the NFL. I just don't understand the logic of taking him top 10
    • No one is arguing where we were on the season.  After the benching Bryce was one of the top deep ball passers in the league.  It's a skillset he has just shown he is capable of doing.  I believe he led the league in week 12 and was one of the top ones for that final quarter.  Dance around the topic and argue the stats all you want, I'm just going by what I saw on TV and read about.   https://x.com/PattonAnalytics/status/1877044086709854343 https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/bryce-young-best-against-pressure-throwing-deep Hey it surprised me as well, but I'm not going to hide my head in the sand and try to ignore what is clearly right in front of me.  People have a hard time admitting their original thought may have been wrong.  That's just the world we live in.  We will see if Young can keep it up next year or not, but signs are point to DC running his offense regardless of who is QB.
    • You are right, but as of late there has been more rookie TEs making immediate impact on teams. McBride, Laporta, Kincaid and obv Bowers.  My true opinion is the team has so many holes they can go multiple directions including Safety. So it just comes down to out of all the talent in the draft who will make the immediate impact. Wr? TE? LB?
