I just want to win Super Bowls. The world is full of dick-bags and assholes. I don't hold athletes to some higher moral standard. The only thing that would piss me off is if a guy ends up suspended, which would hurt chances of my team winning the game. I watch football for the W's and the L's. I want more W's. I want to see all those assholes that invade BofA when their "grandpas team" comes to Charlotte forced to leave our stadium defeated and beat down. Outside of some heinous crime like rape or murder, whatever player we can get to help that cause is fine by me.

I am the opposite.  I would rather lose with guys with high character and tremendous work ethic than win with scum bags who abuse drugs, women, and every opportunity their God-given gifts afford them.  Good thing you usually don't have to.  There are big pictures that these fudge badgers don't get--values associated with being a part of something bigger than the self.  A mass of dung does not make marble, so if you want to build your house with various aspects of turdery, then prepare for life in the poo house.

surprised they didn't draft a RB. They got UDFA RB Synyn Days of Georgia Tech, who was an awesome college player but i haven't heard much draft buzz about him

Meh, I approach sports that way. Sports is not the world. Sports is my entertainment. The whole "I'd rather lose with good guys" scenario is not for me. Am I glad the Panthers don't have a bunch of distractions? Sure. But not wanting to give a player a chance because he has a checkered past is dumb if he can help your team win. The ultimate goal of an NFL team is to make money, sell merchandise, and win games. Well I buy season tickets, I buy their swag, I want to see them win games.
