What else would you do? Pizza stone?

I have thought about those, but never used them as I am pretty adamant that frozen pizzas absolutely must be cooked on the rack to maximize taste.  Before I knew any better, I used to bake them on glorified cookie sheets, and then thought that I was really doing something when I moved to foil only.  Rising crust straight on the rack was an epiphany indeed.

But now that I know that you can grill pizza on a pizza stone, I am intrigued.

I'm just not so sure about the grilled thing.

I love grilled food as much as any other middle-aged Southern guy that's eating his way to heart issues, but I just can't picture grilling pizza.

You can grill on a pizza stone because it's still cooking the pizza the same way. Heat the stone up, put your pizza on there. And be very careful when taking it out.

Also, be careful about putting frozen pizza on a hot stone cuz the thermal shock can crack it

I don't like frozen pizza anyway.

I did try the coal fired pizza at Dan Morgan's place back when that was open.  That was great tasting stuff.

Hated that the place didn't last.  Had a marvelous menu.

I live in an apartment on the third floor while i finish school and can't have my grill here. Any other options? Like a mini electric grill or something? I can't take not grilling anymore.

Not even a big Foreman?

(yes, I know it's not the same)

I knew somebody'd be a wise ass about it

My lady loves to grill and actually wants a new grill for Mother's Day.  I'm no grill expert, though.  Somebody gimme advice on a good one.

Charcoal is where it's at, but gas is more convenient. You don't need a top of the line grill to make good good. Mine is basic with one side burner.

Hey all!

Got 2nd job recently delivering pizzas here in Raleigh. i figured im sitting at home playing Call of Duty I might as well make some $.

Anwyay I get to listen to a LOT more sports talk on the radio. On the surface this is a good thing. Last night was hell.

So ESPN is rocking their boxing special ALL day...so I got the pain of listening to Stephen A for the 2 seconds it took for me to change it...it doesnt take 2 seconds for Stephen A to play a race card though so that was horrible. Not sure if he or Bomani is faster at playing race cards...lthey should compete.

So ESPN was out. Sirius NFL...the draft! All day coverage??? sweet!

Not so much.

The announcers spend 1/2 the time telling us who they are and the other 1/2 interviewing people that said the same inane crap.

"Blessed for this opportunity"

"Really thankful for being here"

blah blah blah.

Heres a thought. How about telling us about the last 5 picks that just went down and about them???

Even on television....Bucs Bucs Bucs.

Not one person with the balls to say that maye Collins had someone kill his ex-girfriend....<enter flashback>

My second point/vent:

Strategy. So...I wont say this was a mediocre draft...but it didnt seem like there were ANY 'wow' players....time will tell. I know I am just a pizza guy now and not a GM...but seems like we would be better served at getting picks NEXT year then settling this year. Just my .02. Make a deal with a team you know will suck ass next year and you move up the boards....

thx- tip your delivery guy-

I, too, live in Raleigh and was very disappointed by the lack of draft coverage on the radio.

I blame that idiot Goodell for pushing it back to the same time as the NBA playoffs.

Also, if you dislike how well teams drafted this year, get used to it. All the extra scouting time is only serving to level the playing field for the lesser GMs out there while guys like Gettleman end up twiddling their thumbs for the last week or two.

    • Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
