that Thanksgiving Day game has me worried.............gonna be one screwed up weekend.

Last time Oher played LT he was trash, even at Baltimore they replaced him with an old past his prime McKinney the year they won the SB.

And speed at receiver, Ginn is our only deep threat but he's 30 and if I recall he had like 4 drops that all which were deep passes.

I'm honestly not worried about much. Its not that there aren't concerns. I just think that we finally have answers at every position. we aren't going to go into the first preseason game wondering about our starters. sure there may be a little shake.up here and there, but there is tangible talent at every position on this team now. there's even quality depth at nearly every position.

will we challenge to win it all this year? probably not. this team will only be elite if they gel well together and fight like they are 3-8-1 right out of the gate. but there is a lot of reason for optimism. and lets not forget that there are 70 million reasons to be extremely excited for 2016 no matter what happens in 2015

Our secondary is still our weakest link. Having said that, look at our roster. It's excellent.

For the first time in about 5 years we have tremendous depth. At almost every position.

shula will continue to be the biggest thing holding us back. he has trouble relinquishing control, but he seems like he isn't confident in his own abilities to make decisions which leads to the lag between plays.

 

cam needs a fast tempo and freedom to do what he does, making decisions that lead to the big plays.

 

shula (and this offense) is at his best when he's least involved in play calling.

Concerns after the draft:

 

OT, RB, OL depth, #2 WR, DE, SS, offensive coordinator, game plans, the 10 minute drive while trailing by 10 points late in the 3rd quarter, running the ball 50+% of the time in the first half, half time adjustments, 30 or fewer sacks from the DL, relying too heavily on free agents, lacking in using the draft to build a team, lack of pro bowlers from recent years drafts, having the worst draft out of the NFC South, getting beat in free agency by everyone else, having the top tier udfas who avoid this team, a lack of urgency to start the season, never winning against the Packers and Seahawks, horrible preparation for opening day games, failure to perform in primetime games, always struggling before and after the bye week, fans sitting down in the stands watching the game when our defense is on the field, fans screaming at the pump up videos when our offense is on the field, playing fan reaction videos when the Panthers are on offense, lack of crowd leadership by the organization to instruct the crowd on what to do at key moments in the game, and being out coached in the playoffs.

Thought of another worry: Who is the starter opposite of CJ? Ealy, Horton, Addison, Frank Alexander? I think we need to have Ealy have a huge jump or someone else to step up. Addison is just a pass rusher. So basically I wish we could have been able to address this in the draft.
