This guy Jon Feliciano?

the ESPN anchors were just talking about his story and it was pretty cool. they called him a "real life forrest gump". but it wasnt an insult. 

 

Jon literally had a medical issue that required him to wear leg braces as a child. His mother would massage his legs to increase the blood flow, and eventually he was able to get rid of the braces. His mother called them "magic shoes" like Gump's mother did in the movie. His mother fought breast cancer as her children were growing up, hiding it from them even when she would cry out in pain during the night. Thankfully, she survived and now her son who at one time required leg braces just to walk will be playing professional football.
