Round 4 Open Thread

In true Gettleman fashion, the immediate reaction to our picks is kinda "wtf, meh, well ok that's fine" and then by the next day it's like "This guy is a genius, what a beautiful draft." At least to me. This really played out well for us. 3 starters, 3 major needs filled.

I still dislike the 1st round pick but the two after it are solid picks that make us better at positions we needed to get better at.

I still want that speed/playmaker at WR.

Then I'd be stoked about this draft.

The pick won't be popular until people see him flying around on game day. An heir for TD has been a major need for us for a couple years now, and TD-Luke-Shaq will be the best LB corps in the league by miles.

I would like that, too, but even if we don't grab one we have three sub-4.4 guys already on the roster who can fill in until we do draft one.

No doubt we will have the best LB group but we already had the best before the draft. Still thought we should of went somewhere else with the 1st round pick but the two picks after are looking good and I feel better about Funchess.

For him to have fallen this far, he must have been removed from people's boards completely. His injury has to be worse than we know.

i read an article about him a few hours ago where his agent was talking him up big time and dismissing the injury. acting like it was a huge shock that he hadnt been drafted yet.

at first it made me think that teams were just being paranoid, but i suppose its more likely to be the agent trying to trump up his client
