As far as him disappearing, just keep in mind the QB situation at Michigan last year; I think anyone who has as bad of a QB as he did would have some bad/invisible games.

Put him into a more consistent offense where he isn't the focal point, and see what he can do.

The whole Michigan team was a dumpster fire last year. The fact that he put up the numbers he did with a unstable QB situation and a coach that pretty much knew he was going to get fired is pretty impressive.

5' 9" is alot < 6'4" (FUNCHESS), 6'5"(KB), 6'6" (Greg Olsen)  plus a 6'6" QB Mmmkay...

I think after DGB got drafted we panicked and traded up.

I wanted a speedy receiver but beggars can't be choosers, at least we didn't go defense. Funchess is a real question mark he disappeared in some games and he plays slower than his time.

Trade was in place before DBG was off the board. If anything, him being picked just before validated what Gettleman was doing. Plus, it was 27 picks after ours until another WR was taken.

Not crazy about either of the first two picks but I do trust Gettleman. Is Funchess better than Cotchery already? Hopefully both Shaq and Funchess start and contribute early.

All? No... A lot of us here were disappointed the Saints jumper up and took Cooks, but after last season, KB has shown he was the better fit for this team.
