If Laell Collins falls to the 5th, how do we not take him?!

He would literally be a free pick. We have three 5th rounders! Even if we draft him and literally tomorrow he is indicted, who cares? It was a free pick given to us by the NFL in form of a comp pick. Come on, even JR can't be this moronic can he? JR needs to put his holier than thou ego aside and take a chance every now and then. This guy is only questioned for the crime, not a suspect! The police have said he is not a suspect.

He would literally almost be playing for free at this point. Yes I totally get passing on guys with red flags in the first couple rounds, but when you have three 5th round picks, come on now.

This organization has had a stain from Rae Carruth for over a decade. Greg Hardy then brought us back into the national spotlight. It might be a "free pick who cares" to you, but try explaining to the media when your player is indicted on murder charges for killing a pregnant woman and say "well, we had three fifth rounders and figured why not take a chance".

This organization would be crucified.

Because there remains a small possibility he murdered or was involved in the murder of a pregnant woman carrying his child. Is it really that hard to understand? Particularly considering the Panthers history.
