For reference I am a casual collegiate football watcher, and considering Washington plays PST I don’t think I’ve ever seen them play since before Jake Locker left. Like many of you I was ‘’meh’’ at the time of the pick, not upset, just ‘’meh’’ because I had no info/clue about the kid.

 

I make no claims at scouting prowess or anything along those lines, I wait until we draft a player and then I start looking at the available tape to see what the guy can do. I trust our staff after two solid years of drafting, hope this video helps to calm some of the Huddlers still recovering from no receiver or tackle being taken in the 1^st.

Cannot wait to see him on the field behind our DL and alongside Luke and TD. He is going to make things happen.

My hope is like with all our picks he thrives in his first year. I mean seriously for a player with his skill set, playing on our top 3 defense how could he not be able to make plays. I personally am more inclined to offense, but I can't deny that we have an opportunity to be as special as Seattle on defense with our front seven. 

 

I feel like Seattle's back end allows their pass rush to succeed, we are the opposite, once we saw our pass rush step up mid-way, the defense turned the corner. The light came on for Norman last year, Bene showed why we moved up and adding Peanut's leadership to go along with Davis, Kuechly, and even Harper's leadership bodes well for us. 

 

If we add another DB, DE, and S on defense I wouldn't be mad, that would leave four spots on offense. So maybe WR, T, HB, and a potential double dip at WR/OL.
