Assuming innocence on his part and assuming he is not a pregger killing piece of poo, you gotta feel bad for the guy.

He isn't represented by the NFLPA yet but his draft stock could be fuged and I guarantee you good ol' Rog will stick it to him with a suspension if this black eye even marginally casts a dark cloud over the NFL Draft, which is probably only second to the super bowl for the NFL making money.

Whats the most disappointing is the fact we have one less OT in the draft meaning lower tackles will be drafted earlier and screw us.

 

I think this is the most important part of everything. With what has happened to Ray, Gregory, and now Collins, all of which were probably going to be gone before the 25th pick, we now have 3 less players to chose from at 25. Even further, these were 2 edge rushers and 1 OL, both high on G-man's radar. I'm starting to feel the Shaq may be the answer.

But the CBA is bargained by the NFL and the NFLPA right? Of which Collins is a part of neither, and therefore not bound by either, correct?

I think they have to adhere to the CBA as soon as they declare, or are draft eligible.  Not 100% on that though.

The suplemental draft is a smart move for all parties involved. Forget CBAs. Forget policies. We learned last September that policies are easily changed under pressure.

Seems like no one haa a handle on this. All the reports I've seen are full of weasel words/phrases & some contradict each other. "He's not a suspect," "not a suspect at this time," "he won't contact police", "police aren't ready to talk to him", etc...
