The only receiver left that would have been a first round grade was Dorsett. I was pulling for him, but I like the Shaq pick too. It'll be interesting g to see how he lines up. G-man is all about him.

I'm just curious where we play him. We play a 4-3 base, but we only actually put 3 LBs on the field on a little over 30% of defensive snaps last year. I don't see taking snaps away from Luke or TD to get him on the field, so he's either going to have to straight up play SS or he's going to have to play in some sort of joker role to see a decent amount of snaps.

This is exactly my problem with the pick. I just don't see the immediate impact.

Not to mention that we probably could have traded back even to the top of the 2nd and still gotten him.

Biggest reach in round 1. A special teamer who has no position? Glad we are letting the players make picks now, guess its why the panthers have been such a failure in its history.
