Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select Shaq Thompson

When that offense is struggling to move the ball like last year I will be bumping this as well so you can see what offense or lack thereof does to a team. I like his talent and do not doubt it but not a position we needed. Even the so called "experts" were like WTF?

Who would you have drafted instead?  I think we are a lot better on offense than you think...

Seattle was able to put up points on us when they needed to.

When we needed points our OL crumbled and we had guys like Bersin as the #1 read.

Seattle obviously has a stacked defense, but they have some damn good talent on offense too.

Amen. We loss both of our playoff games the exact same way.

Our offense starts off bad. Our defense is stout. The other team scores, we answer back. We keep it tight trailing by 3 at the half. In the second half the other team makes adjustments. We don't. Our offense gets stopped and then the other team shreds our defense. A late interception seals the loss.

If we keep just trying to "get by" on offense it will happen again. There's definitely hope though...

If you think our offense is better than I think you just need to go back in time and watch last year's games and you will see how putrid our offense was. Adding Ginn for returning helps our STs play but not our offense as a whole. We should of went Perriman or Smith at WR.

Shaq Thompson's specialty is creating and returning turnovers. In particular ripping the ball out when other players are making a tackle or being in position to scoop and score.  Is that not the perfect player to put next to Kuechly?

News flash: Smith hasn't been drafted yet. Still a chance.

Philly Brown is that speed receiver you keep talking about.  Dude is entering only his second year.  Ginn was a great threat for us as well. We will use him better than Zona did.  And lets not forget about Olsen/Benji.  Both were great last year and with Benji entering year 2, should improve a lot.  Biggest need is OL depth.  We can get that in the other 6 rounds.
