Exactly!  I think the entire NFL believes Chip wants Mariota and everyone up top is basically rolling out the red carpet and inviting him to make them his best offer.

Yep, ATL is the poster child of why it's almost never worth making a blockbuster trade for a non-QB.  Julio Jones is a GREAT WR, but part of the reason why their roster has so many holes is due to the draft pick ammo they had to give up in order to move up and get him.

 

If you're going to trade major assets for a player, he pretty much has to be a franchise QB.  No other position has a big enough impact to justify it.
