Pineville: D.D. Peckers (best damn wings around)

Lake Norman: Sabi, North Harbor Club, J.J. Wasabi, Epic Chophouse, Field of Greens, Lancaster's

For your needs, consult McCormick and Schmick's for seafood, North Harbor Club for American or Epic Chophouse for steak

take a chance on Beef and Bottle on South, been there forever and somewhere else before that, as good or better food than Ruths etc...but about 2/3 the price.

We actually went there for a friends birthday last year. It was incredible. Enjoyed the atmosphere because it reminded of the shithole bars that I love.

Another option is 131 Main. Their shrimp and grits will make you slap somebody.

If she likes Italian, Vivace at Midtown or Aria uptown are both really nice choices.

Barringtons is a great restaurant that's been in Clt forever. Quaint with great food. A tad bit expensive though

The Peach Stand in Ft. Mill has an excellent and under the radar butcher shop. Locally raised organic meats. Little bit of everything.
