This is Cam's year to silence a lot of critics

You know what? You're probably right, but if he balls out this year while the media is watching their darlings play against him it will be amusing to watch them scramble for reasons why he has "arrived."

If Cam/Carolina goes undefeated and wins every game by 30 points Cam critics will say the wins mean nothing because none of them were close and he didn't have any clutch drives/4th quarter comebacks.

What exactly would make you believe that Cam is going to have a big season next year with the pieces around him?

What has this team done to help him achieve that?

Bring in a 4th string receiver that got beat out by a rookie? Sign two if the worst tackles in the NFL? basically replacing dog s**t with cat s**t

And now people in here want then to draft a rb which wouldn't help Cam much and defense which wouldn't help Cam at all.

Cam is gonna have to rely on rookie tackle and rookie receiver, and you are expecting some sort of break out season?

If Cam does have an MVP type season with that supporting cast, then he deserves to be the highest paid player in NFL history.

Ah, the NFL QB position. The most unique position in all of sports. If folks like the guy, he can do no wrong. He wins despite his team, and loses because of them. If folks hate him. He wins because of his team, and loses despite them.

Football is the ultimate team sport. So much goes into deciding each game. Coaching, team talent, quirky plays, injuries, refs, and more. One superstar, unlike other sports, barely makes a difference. Even if the superstar is the QB.

So go ahead. Blame Cam for our record. Just do not expect folks that understand the nature of the game to agree with you.

I guess you don't think its possible we add another WR in the draft that would be our #2 giving Cam another viable recieving option to go along with our 1000+ yd receivers? You are positive that neither of the LTs, are capable of improving in a new system with new/fimilar coaching? Is it at all possible that Cam being healthy from the start of the season and time for he and his wide outs to gel before the season starts, could have a positive impact on Cams performance?

Judging by your pessimistic view points im sure your not positive about anything.

Even at the end of the season when we were healthy and Cam was more familiar with his receivers our offense still struggled. And are you sure your gonna have that much faith in another rookie receiver? you act as if every rookie is suppose to produce like Benjamin who was forced into the number 1 role.

And no I don't have faith in OT's who have bounced around the league the last couple of seasons and get beat constantly. I don't care how familiar the coaching is, nothing is going to help a guy whose has given up sack after sack

And no I'm being realistic, so far this team hasn't improved much this off season, and people are expecting Cam to all of a sudden take the leap and become an elite QB. So when this season comes and if our offense struggles its Cam's fault.

If we land another stud WR Thursday night, he wouldn't have to match KB's rookies stats to have a major impact on Cams performance. Just the presence of another competent threat would open up our offense and create coverage problems for the opposing defense. And Cam was never completely healthy last season. Im also a realist and I really believe that the FO is in the process of sitting the table for Cam to have a breakout season.
