Panthro's 1st Round Prediction (and 2nd and 3rd)

Devon Smith ran a 4.47 just like Funchess.

He is really being unfairly pegged as slow. The guy is fast. I think people look for compliments when you really can create mismatches.

Difference is Devin Smith plays faster than his timed speed. Funchess plays slower.

You better like him Smith is to Panthro as Landon Collins is to Igo

Collins is the best safety in the draft, if he falls to 25 that is a great value.

Preston Smith is ranked what, 3rd or 4th DE? I think he is this year's Kony Ealy, who Gettledog also had ranked as a first rounder.

No guarantee that the best safety in a mediocre safety draft is given a first round grade on pure talent.

Best safety in this class...

That like a cherry on a poo sundae. It's a bad draft for safeties and I will bet you a plate of wings that if both are there Collins will not be the pick.

6'5

I think Devon would be the pick but didn't think he was going to be there when we draft in the 2nd.

You're getting the same type of WR though. This team needs a a vertical threat with good hands (preferably a route running specialist). Funchess is none of those.

No we don't

We need to create mismatches.

Devon Smith didn't run a full route tree either and was off the field on 2 wr sets...a lot
