Welp. Stayed up way beyond my bedtime to watch all those clips & I'm glad I did. Thank you to everyone that posted the links. That was a very good interview series. Cam seems so much more relaxed than he had been & that's good to see. And I never knew how funny he really is. I'm so happy he's our QB, feels the Panthers are ascending & wants to stay here.

You think he's worth that big money yet? 

I can say that he is totally different than he was during his first and second years--when I was getting blasted for saying he needed to mature.   He did.

About the $$$--

It is really hard to say because there have been so many variables--injuries, lockouts, WR and OL play, inconsistent and erratic QB play--who knows, really?.  I think they have to pay the man, but around $20-22m per and not $25m.  I think a 5-year deal at $100-110m would be a great deal for both sides. 

 

If we pay the $25m, he needs to know, the difference is a stud RT or G. 

 

This year, I expect Cam to take the next step and show us what he can do.  He is starting to talk like a veteran--he is not focused on himself so much.  That is what I wanted to see.  I genuinely feel pride for his development because I work with kids his age (18-23) and some never get it.
