It's a 6th round pick. Not every pick is going to make the roster, but Mason is a potential replacement for Kalil in a few years. If he doesn't pan out, no big deal. Kugbilla/Silatolu are injury prone and Velasco costs money. A cheap replacement with potential to start.

It's a possibility, but I could see him falling as well. You have to think that Smith, Dorsett, and Agholor go before him now.

some will I'm sure. I keep hoping that we will pick Dorsett in the first. I've been impressed with him versus pretty much every other receiver we have a chance at taking. back when he was still being mocked in the 4th and 5th rounds, I kept wondering why he wasn't a 1st or second rounder and now he is. he and Thompson have the same value to me. I wish the Panthers would draft one and trade up in the second to snag the other. doesn't matter to me which.

I honestly would rather have Dorsett than Agholor or Smith. Smith always seems to have a corner draped all over him like he can't get separation. and I'm with you, Agholor just seems like more of what we already have.

Two prospects that I love are Phillip Dorsett and Jake Fisher. I don't see the panthers drafting either without trading into the second round though.

Would use one of the 3rd-5th picks on Havenstein or one of the Oklahoma OTs.
