Cleveland has such remarkable history with drafting great QBs in the 1st round. Why not try again?

They have the assets to pull it off. Titans would probably ask for #12,#19, and their 1st rounder next year. That's if they're not interested in Mariota. If they think he's a franchise QB, they gotta sit tight and take him.

If Cleveland does this and Mariota isn't a franchise QB , current staff is doomed and Browns have probably another decade of suck.

Dude is legit.  I haven't seen a dude as prepared to make an impact at the WR position in the NFL since Megatron IMO.

I hear what you're saying, but OBJ is about the biggest beast at WR that I have ever seen coming out the gate.  I suspected that he'd be good, but he took the the bull by the horns and ran with it.

And, just for the record, yet again, I scoff and outright laugh at the thought of someone knowing how Gettleman has players graded.  It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever knowing how Gettleman carries out his business.  He is the "king", and I dare say the only people that may know what's in his mind are his closest advisers in his court.

I can see why you'd have that opinion, but I've seen them both play, up close and personal, several times and, of the two, I prefer Cooper and it ain't even close.

I agree and he seems to not let anything out as far as what he is thinking until AFTER the draft. He does give some hints though as to the way he is thinking about the class in general.

I mean....

 

One of these years I'd like to watch a Raiders/Browns game pretty much solely because they're the two best examples of gridiron incompetence going outside of perhaps Jacksonville.  Amazing that neither of them after well over a decade of high picks can get anything remotely right.
