Dion Jordan Suspended for the 2015 season

Exactly. I knew that end up as a disaster. Jordan has thrived at LB, not DE. Very, very doltish of The Fins to attempt such a thing. I don't care if he's a tweener. Give him a shot at LB. If not, then, as you stated don't draft him.

Yep, Gettleman said that there are quite a few really good edge rusher prospects in this draft who fit in a 3-4 scheme.  He basically said that they're gonna be good NFL players, but we're not drafting them because there's no scheme fit for us.  He did say he assigns them a round value though, I assume for trade purposes.  If he's sitting there and the BPA is a 3-4 edge rusher, then maybe that's an indication that we should be answering the phones for potential trades.

I would LOVE that scenario!

2013 turned out to be a very weak draft class (which i guess isn't surprising when an OT out of the Mid-American Conference was the #1 overall pick: Eric Fisher)

thoughts on that draft:

-We are very fortunate we got Star and Kawann

-everyone made fun of the Cowboys for taking C Travis Frederick at #31 and now it looks genius

-crazy how the Saints came out with a their starting LT from that draft (Terron Armstead at #75) as well as Kenny Stills at #144 in the 5th

-in hindsight, 3 of the Top 4 RBs taken should have gone much higher:

#37 Giovani Bernard

#48 Le'Veon Bell

[#58 Montee Ball]

#61 Eddie Lacy

also Andre Ellington went at #187 in the 6th

Dion Jordan is looking like a bust. Isn't that entire drafts first couple of picks looking bad?

Except for Ansah on Detroit the entire top 10 picks of that draft are questionable now, with some busts starting to surface like Jordan.  Still tons of time to turn it around for those guys though.
