What do you think ...Mariotta to Phildelphia

After watching the NFL mock draft and they mention Chip Kelly moving up to get Mariotta.

 

What is your opinion if Philly could add a QB that knows this system very well.  Do you think that would make Philly dangerous?

 

I think it would make Philly absolutely very dangerous.

They've got big holes on D and soon the o-line so I'd be fine with them trading a bunch of picks for a QB who would be a bust anywhere but Kelly's system. Look how well Foles played in his system... Chip could have any decent QB there playing effectively so it seems pointless to trade up for Mariota. Wouldn't scare me as much as Winston going to the Bucs.

If they trade up that high they may be good next year but depth will suffer and they will suck in a few years. Ask the redskins and the falcons

Well it isn't often that a college coach can get a Heisman Trophy winner that runs his type of offense.   

 

I think Kelly has tried to get something going from what he has on his roster.  Maybe it is time for him to build it from the bottom up.   Take Mariotta and go from there.
