I have never hit a woman, granted. But to destroy a human being for doing something stupid when we've all done dumb ass things such as drinking and driving, getting in bar fights with other people, and many other things and NOT getting caught is wrong.

Speak for yourself.

You actually think domestic violence is just one of those "dumb college kid" things?

Wow.

I don't agree with what he said but not all incidents are the same or can be judged equally. For sake of argument, let's take two different scenarios. A man and woman are in a vocal argument and it escalates to a physical struggle when the woman starts throwing things at the man and beating on him and the man runs towards the stairs. She is still hitting him and he pushes her down the stairs (not saying this is DGB by any means). Would that be the same as a man who beats the crap out of his wife with a closed fist regularly? I would not consider the man in that first incidence a "woman-beater" by any means. The second scenario? Should spend his life in prison. Both are "DV."

How about a scenario where a guy breaks down a door, shoves a pregnant woman down the steps and drags his girlfriend around by the throat?

How does that one stack up?

Like I said I'm not talking about DGB. I don't want us to draft him.

this isn't Cams ideal WR?an explosive second gear, soft hands,a physical mismatch, freakishly contorts his body, exceptional field vision,6'5 240 pd blocker, and a catch radius second to no one in the entire draft.i personally believe no WR in this entire draft would complement Cam more.

Domestic Violence is in no means acceptable.   It could be a one time thing or it could worse.  Because he did it once doesn't mean he will do it again.

I have know the most docile person be pushed into violence.  Does that make him or a serial woman beater.   I know this persons hasn't laid a hand on anyone since.

You don't know, neither do it.

What I do know is he has been drama free for over a year.   He has had counseling and is trying to start a new life.   My point is, sit down, speak with the guy, speak with the coach at OU and do you homework like you did Cam and make a determination then.   Don't label a 19 to 20 year old young man because he did something stupid over a year ago.

Pretty sure one incident of murder makes you a murderer and one incident of rape makes you a rapist.

Funny how that works, huh?

But hey, let's wait till somebody hits a woman at least three times before we start accusing him of being a woman beater. That's fair, right?

(just when I think the posts on here couldn't possibly get any dumber...)

nice strawman argument, if you stole something when you were 5 does that make you a thief for the rest of your life???

what about if you cheated on a test in highschool.............guess your a cheater for the rest of your life huh? tried pot once, then you're a drug addict better sign into rehab immediately

by your logic(which is pretty dumb) you do something once that's what you're labeled.........there's no margin of error for the perfect Mr. Scott aye?

people make mistakes but it's what they do after those mistakes that's important, did they learn from them or not?but you keep thinking you're on a higher pedestal then everyone else ..........but again that seems to be your M.O. lately

So you talk about a straw man argument, then compare five year olds stealing and high school kids cheating to an adult committing domestic violence?

Yeah

Lots of teams sat down with him and talked. Word on the street is that didn't go so well. Why is this almost 20 pages when there is .00000001% that he's even on our board.

Not all of us can be Saints of Catholicism like yourself, Batman. I was in the Air Force, so of course I've done some dumb ass bull poo in my life.

I was in the special forces. I still knew better than doing stupid things. There are certain lines you don't cross.

it was to prove a point but since you don't have a rebuttal worth a damn,i'll just take it as another one of your infamous choir boy post

oh and btw you do know you can get a DV charge without laying a hand on someone right..........guess those people are "wife beaters" too aye?
