I can't wait to see everyone cry "reach" if we pick Devin Smith.

 

Well, I for one would be optimistic because our offense absolutely could use a young speed demon to develop along with Cam and Benjamin.  He can take the roof off the defenses and make them honest.

 

One thought though:  i have to admit that I'd be probably somewhere snickering and grinning sheepishly about  "BPA, huh...?" I'd probably laugh my ass off, and admittedly take Dave's BPA thing with a grain of salt henceforward.

Gurley won't be there, and there isn't another RB they would take in the first.

If Dorsett is there, he will probably be the best WR prospect to take at 25. Lightening speed and can play both outside and the slot. The more I read about him, the more I hope G-Man has him marked as a 1st round talent.

Well we were the 16th ranked offense in 2014 with one the worst WR and OL groups in the league. I think we can crack top 12 this season if Cam stays healthy and we add some speed.

I just don't see a run first team taking a WR in the first two years in a row.  I think it will be OL or defense.

You know that's always within the recesses of my mind, in a cave somewhere, banging on the steel door, saying, "Let, me out!"  

 

The thing is, that it's not the time.  This Shula thing is going to have to play out.  If Rivera doesn't watch out, as Shula goes, he is gonna go.  I want to believe, like P55, that Shula's appearance of offensive malfeasance is directly tied to the lack of personnel to consistently put his philosophy into action in an efficient manner, but I just think that he sucks.  That being said, I have no choice but to give him the benefit of the doubt for my own fanatical mental sanity.  Perhaps having an improved defense, O-line, and another threat or two at WR will be too much for even Shula to screw up.

 

Talent can cover over a multitude of sins.

Curious as well. Seems like a lot of the knocks are the same as with benji last year. Id love to get him in here. Benji and perriman on the outside with brown in the slot and olsen at te. That would be great imo, then ginn making the occasional appearance.
