The Top Tier WRs according to Cosell

So if Cooper is the only WR worth a first round pick who do you think is going to fill the other 31 draft picks?

I'm not sure if I can find 31 players with less risk than White.

I very negative on WR in the first round it is one of the hardest positions to learn in the NFL.  Rather spend our first pick on linebacker, OT or guard.  This years WR class is deep spend the 2nd round pick on a WR.  A lot of good Speed WR still available after the first round.

White right now is just a one year wonder whose production did trail off during last year. He is coming out of a college offense that produces high numbers.  In his JR year at WVU he struggled.  Now I will say he can catch the ball and made some nice catches but he also struggled out man coverage last year.

Yeah, three rookie 1000 yard receivers last year and a 4th who just narrowly missed 1000.  There have been 11 1000+ yard rookie WRs in the last 20 years.  4 of those have come in the last two years.  3 of those 4 were 1st round picks.

I think your point is invalid.

That is a fine argument, but you said you would only spend a first round pick on one receiver. So I'm curious to what other 31 players you would select before you feel a second receiver is worthy of being picked. Or in our case who are the 24 players at other positions you would take before White or Parker?

Our decisions will be dictated by what teams in front of us do. There is a chance receiver might be the best pick for us. There is a very good chance a player you might prefer will not be there when we pick. Personally I can't name 24 players I would pick before taking the second receiver left on the board.

This x1000.

Every draft class is relative.  OG historically hasn't been a highly valued position with many drafts not having a single interior OL taken in the 1st round.  However, there have been two OGs taken in the top 10 in recent years.

It's not as simple as saying *insert position* isn't worthy of a 1st round pick.  it's all relative.
