2015 Tailgating Menu's

SCP

It's never to early to plan for the season. Here is what I have laid out as the starting point for my basic game plan. I am wondering if any of you guys and gals have any tailgate favorites that you cook every season. I'm looking to add some new things to our mix. I do most of my tailgate cooking on site but this year I am planning to smoke a brisket and a pork butt for two games. Anybody have a great cook-on-site item or two they'd like to share?

SCP, try grilling corn on the cob. Just put the corn on the grill inside the husks, just like you just took them off the stalk.

Mix some Kraft mayo, parmesan cheese, and some chili powder to taste. You can put a little melted butter in it if you want.

Once you grill the corn, pull back the husks, spread the mix on the corn on the cob while it's still hot and eat.

Mix that concoction up to taste. You can even replace it with a barbecue-butter mix, or something of that nature.

To be honest, even just eating the corn by itself is delicious.

Try it.

Roasted beets are an unusual favorite of mine. Simply wash, coat in olive oil and salt, wrap in tin foil and cook for about 60-90 minutes depending on size. They're a simple, delicious super food.

However they stain everything. Only down side. But for one of the colder, winter games they would go great. I'd suggest the DEC game v the Falcons.
